Claire R Lynch is an artist and teacher based out of the Washington DC area. At the age of 31, Claire underwent two unexpected and rapid spinal surgeries for a recurring herniated disk within the span of 3 days. This series was inspired by the spontaneously ridiculous, traumatizing, and heartwarming moments of her surgical recovery.
